So I haven’t seen this in years. I see you can book a fastpass for like 5:30-5:50 or something like that. So does that just let you in ahead of the crowd and then they let everyone who doesn’t have one in at 10 minutes before the show starts? And how long is the show? Thanks

Special down-front seating area of theater for FP guests.

Show length is 30 minutes.

yes. Unless the park is extremely crowded, the show area is large enough that a FP generally is not needed unless you want to sit down front.

The left and bottom center is reserved for fp, the right and top center is standby, they allow everyone in at the same time, there are just ropes that separate fo from standby.

I always considered this a throw-away Fastpass, but I did not know until I opened this thread that you can obtain better seating with it.

When we saw the show last May, we had a bunch of ladies wearing ears in front of us that blocked our babies’ view of the show.

Good to know that we can get closer seats and maybe front row with a FP. :)

Like virtually all shows at WDW, even with a FP, arriving earlier will give you a much better CHOICE
in seating.
So, if you have a planned/preferred seating area in mind, arriving far too early will beat getting there one minute too late.

It is such a large theater that unless it is a particularly busy time I don't think i would waste a FP on it. Our April trip (moderate crowds) we strolled in pretty much just as the show was starting and had no problem finding a seat. It also might be one of those things where if you sit a little further back you actually have a better view. We were about 3/4 of the way up from the stage and thought the view was perfect.

Thanks everyone. Thought we might need one going in July w/ Toy Story just opening and all the people and not much still to do there.
