Just booked up to see this at Milton Keynes Theatre on Sept 8th with my Mum.

It's her Birthday next Friday and I didn't know what to get her, so DH suggested seeing what was coming on at the theatre.

I was well excited when I saw B&TB is coming in Sept.

Got my B&TB Broadway soundtrack out this morning and was singing my head off on the way to work....

"Be our Guest, be our Guest, put our service to the test.
Tie your napkin round your neck, Cherie, and we'll provide the rest...."

and

"No one's quick as Gaston, no one's slick as Gaston, no one's necks as incredibly thick as Gastons"

They are my fave two songs from the musical.

Sorry to waffle on, I just can't wait!!

I love Beauty and the Beast ~ Usually see it several times when were are in Florida.

We went to see it a couple of years ago when it came to Edinburgh ~ It was fantastic.

it truly is a wonderful show, we saw it when it came to nottingham and met the cast afterwards and got our programmes signed...white programmes very quickly became scrawled over in blue and red marker!

I saw the original production in London - it was stunning

I hope you enjoy it

I saw this show it was very professional, but I honestly prefer the WDW MGM version :goodvibes

Karen you will love it I have seen this production twice now :)

Ooh, I am well excited now.

Can't stop humming the tunes!!

We have seen B&TB in New York (3 years ago) and Bradford (2 weeks ago) a very good show, you will love it.

Ohhhhhh, I love this show :cloud9: Saw it in Manchester a few years ago and love watching the MGM version

We saw it last august in Plymouth, couldn't figure out for ages why the film is 1hour 30 minutes, the stage show is about 2 and a half hours and yet the MGM version is 20 minutes!! You don't feel like you are losing out on anything in the mgm one but they do actually miss out several scenes. The theatre versions great, I hope you enjoy it

I saw the original production in London. Unfortunately, it did nothing for me and I left the theatre very disappointed. It was an hour longer than the film and that hour just seemed to be padded out with extra instantly forgetable songs. I much preferred the Disney MGM version.

That's just my opinion. DW and DD loved it.

I love the MGM version too, but really fancied watching this too.
Have wanted to go since it was on in London but never got round to it so thought I would see it now, as it's only up the road from me in Sept.

Thanks for your opinions.

I will let you know how I enjoyed it on 9th Sept!!
