Beauty and the Beast at MGM

When do they usually do the first show? Is there one in the morning, or will it be afternoon?

I don't know how the schedule changes from week to week, but last week when we were there, on Sundays the first show was at 10:15 a.m., but the rest of the week, the first show was at 1:15 p.m. We went to the 1:15 show and got there about 20 minutes prior to show time. We sat midway between the back and stage and saw everything perfectly. They have a cute opening act so it's not boring to wait long. It looked like they also let you bring food in, so you can bring lunch or a snack to kill the time.

We loved the show.

Go early! As henrylovespooh said, you can in fact bring in food for your lunch. We grab turkey legs, sandwiches, and chicken strips and go get our seats when it opens. Enjoy a nice meal, watch "Four for a Dollar" (cool pre-show!), and you haven't wasted any of that valuable WDW time!

And thanks for the info on taking in food. That's a good idea. It will help my kids last through the waiting. I never would have thought of that!
