Beats solo by dr dre?

Target has a "black Friday" sale today and they have the Dr Dre Beats Solo for $129. Does anyone know if this is a good price? I'm sure my sons would love them for Christmas but I don't know if this is a good price or not. I'm a little afraid to get them so early.

Just checking some Black Friday 2013 info, Target had these for $119 on Black Friday. But not really, IIRC, if you had a red card, you could order Black Friday items earlier in the week, so there weren't any left by Friday.

This is how we roll in my house-for $10 of a price difference, I would get them now...because, I am not fighting Black Friday crowds.

Beats are normally $180, so yes, it is a good price.

It's a very good prices, esp. if you have a Red Card and can save an add'l 5% BUT...unless he is obsessed with the logo for the price I would skip the beats and go with something better quality. I was shopping for them and noted that every single sample pair in the store was broken. A lady who was also shopping for headphones told me that her son went thru three pairs in the space of a year.

I went with some Sony Extra Bass headphones for middle DS instead - less money better quality. I also got youngest DS some skullcandy's (navigators). Again, less money better quality. I think on sale I paid @$50 per pair. They are still going strong and the kids love them.

If you want really good quality and aren't afraid of sticker shock look at Sennheiser or Klipsch. Klipsch over ear aren't available at Target but the quality of both brands is amazing.

As long as you and your sons don't kill that these are actually pretty low quality and don't have the best sound. The price is 100% about the fact that Dre has attached his name to them and that they are "cool". So you are spending money on status and nothing else.
