My son and I can't find Bear on the Disney Channel. He's watched it forever. We cant find it on the Disney website's listing for tv shows. Has it been taken off the channel? :confused3 If it has, what is going to happen to the Playhouse Disney Live at MGM? thanks

Hmmmm, I wonder. They also seemed to have done away with Clay and replaced him with the annoying monkeys. I liked Clay.

We went through this when they took Rolie Polie Olie off the air. At least they made two movies before they whisked it off. I don't have a toddler anymore so we haven't seen the Playhouse Disney show in a couple of trips, so I am not sure what it looks like.

Obviously not a solution to missing Bear live... but they do have several compilation DVD's. Now that my son has turned five, we don't see Bear nearly as much. But its nice to have the DVD's on hand when we do need a quick Bear fix. :)

If some version of the "Playhouse Disney Live on Tour" will replace the current show at MGM. Jo Jo is still on the air, they dusted Pooh off and gave him a new show, but Bear is a big part of the MGM show and is now gone from TV, and I have a feeling Stanley's days are numbered.
The Live on Tour show is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, and Little Einsteins. From a Marketing standpoint, seems that this would be a better tie-in to what the kids are watching (and buying) now.
And FWIW, I hate the Monkey's too. "OOH and AAH" - they could have at least named them a little better. :upsidedow

My daughter loves the OOH & AAH monkey's !!! She is only 9 mo old and everytime they come on she stops and watches them and they make her smile!

LEAVE THE MONKEY'S ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Disney did a great job with the names also.

We too are HUGE Bear fans that miss him!! I still have a few shows on the dvr but am slowly buying the dvds to replace them. I really hope they leave Playhouse Disney Live alone until my DD has another chance to see them in December!! She LOVES singing the Goodbye song with Luna!!

We also really like Ohh and Ahh...I found Clay annoying. Now if they could only get rid of Daniel Cook... ;)

I wish they'd left the regular show schedule alone instead of putting on more tween shows on so early in the morning. I miss my Wiggles at 10!

Am I the only one who can't stand the new Pooh show? I mean, who's this Darby chick??? Where's Christopher Robin??? Wasn't that the whole thing...Pooh and friends were really Chris Robin's toys...What's Darby doing with some other kids toys??

Yes I am annoyed by the tweens shows coming on at 10. Guess they are getting ready for the "big" kids to be home from school during the day for the summer.

I thought I saw Bear on some morning at like 6??? It might even had been on the weekend.

Daniel Cook got on my nerves, I heard he is too old now, he is like 9 and doing other shoes in Canada but this Emily chick is annoying too!

In May Bear was still the headliner in the Playhouse Disney show. And Stanley was a character standing outside AK when we arrived. No line because no one knew who he was but both my guys grew up with Stanley. DS4 was so thrilled by both, he wanted to know why Dennis didnt sign his autograph book only Stanley!!!

Doesn't Darby look like Christopher Robin? I think so! And maybe since we all grew up, Christopher did too!! And since Christopher loved his toys sooo much, he passed them on to his DD!

This idea works for me!

My youngest DS loves Bear in the Big Blue house. He loves him so much we bought the DVD Potty time with Bear. We have watched that so many times. It's slowly working to get him to use the potty too. woo hoo!!! Also, when we are outside at night and he sees the moon in the sky, he says Luna, Bear. But alas, he is no longer on Playhouse Disney on the weekends. Guess, I'll have to go buy the DVD's now, so he can have his Bear fix.

We also bought the potty video with Bear. DS doesn't like it as much as he liked "Breakfast with Bear". That used to come on around 6am but I don't think it comes on anymore. He was thrilled though to see them at MGM though. He doesn't talk too much but he looked at them, pointed and then looked at me like "where have they been?" :goodvibes

My little guy loves Playhouse Disney...mostly Little Einsteins and Mickey Mouse Playhouse. He likes the monkeys--he pays attention to them. Likes Lou & Lou, Choo Choo Soul. Sorta likes the new Pooh show. Little Einsteins is his real favorite...

LOL, the potty time video is the B-E-S-T. My DH and I sing the songs to DD all the time. "...it's time to get to know your potty chair."

My DD now 6 LOVED (loves) Bear in the Big Blue House, We have some videos, & 2 cd's, it is told annoying that they switched everything, all the shows have been changed- ones for DD & for DS2:scared1: oh well, I guess the changed it because of school being out:confused3

I hate the new schedule and am glad I am not alone! Why do preschoolers have to suffer just b/c older kids are out of school?

Yep, we just watched that one tonight before bedtime. The Dance Party DVD is also very good. It's such a sweet show and I'm glad we bought the DVDs.

The actress who played the voice of Luna passed away a few years ago, and I think I read that they haven't produced many or any of the Big Blue House shows since then, just Breakfast with Bear.
