Because I just so happened to snap these two photos of Bear Head Rock early Monday morning, November 1, 2010.

And I didn't even know you were looking for a photo:

As you can see, the water level in the lake is low.

I watched a bit of the local news on Sunday night, October 31, and they reported that this October was the driest October on record for Orlando, with only a bare trace of rain the entire month-not even enough to measure.

I've never seen it that low(the water)
Bear Head looks much more menacing when it's in the water.
Did you add the stick or did it happen to be there ?

Nope- the stick was there.

I think that's the bear's stick.

It belongs there.

We are supposed to get some rain in these parts soon, so hopefully that old bear will be back to swimming soon.
