Beaded Minnie Mouse Wedding Ears! *I turned them into a hair barrette!*

Here is the hair barrette that I made with the beaded wedding ears!

I'm so excited with how it turned out! I decided to completely forgo the ornament idea and made them into little wearable ears! (Thanks to DH's comment. lol)

Hopefully I'll see one of my little nieces soon, so I can get an action shot of the barrette!

I just had to share these with you guys! I knew you all would appreciate them! (When I showed them to DH, he just asked, "Are those going to fit on your head?" )

They measure about 3/4" tall, and about 1 3/4" from ear to ear. (Hence the silly question from DH.) As soon as I can find my organza ribbon, I'm going to turn it into an ornament for my rear view mirror!

I'm also working on a Mickey Mouse groom's ears hat... Like the old top hat version they used to have at WDW. But that's becoming really frustrating! So those may or may not get finished! lol I'll be sure to post pictures if I finally get them to look the way I want!

DH's comment actually got me to thinking... I'm wondering what it would look like to turn the beaded ears into a headband or something similar to be worn on the head... Hmm... I may try that out before making it into an ornament, just to see! It would be fun to wear at WDW anyway!

I did figure out a way to attach them to a little hair barette!!! As soon as my camera batteries are charged, I'll take pictures to show you guys! I do wish I had a little girl that I could use for a model, so you can see what they look like in your hair! lol

Hmm... I just sent a picture to my Mom, and she said it would also look cute on a headband!!! AH! What do you guys think? The headbands are just the thin elastic ones. Which do you think would look better?

I'm going to make one up tonight. It's going to be Sorcerer Minnie inspired. A dark blue base/ears hat, with red bow and yellow stars. I'm going to put that one on a headband to see what it looks like!
