Beaches to see

Hi, We will be driving from NC to Orlando. We are wanting to split the trip up so I was wondering if anyone knew of some places that would be good to make a one night stop in then continue on to Orlando. We would love to see a nice beach in Florida that is not too far off track

We are going to stop at St.Augustine it is supposed to be real nice.

Another,kind of obvious from its name, would be Daytona Beach.
