So I just finished watching Samantha Brown from the Travel Channel get something called "The Kitchen Sink" at Beaches and Cream shop. It looked amazing and totally fit for a glutton like me. Can you still get this and has anyone ever embarked on this adventure? :worship: If so, pictures please...:woohoo:

I think just google image search adn u might find a pic- but they DEF still have it and it's really fun. They make a big deal when they bring it out :-) has all the toppings and a whole can of whipped cream on it. :-)
My brother in law got it once and it was really fun to see him and my neice and nephew dive it :-).

Do you know how much it costs? I know we would never finish it but it would be so much fun to try.

Last I saw it was $21.99.

We are getting it this December! Last night when we had dinner with my sisters and nephews it dawned on me that we had enough people to order one!!! Yeah, everyone in the restaurant must have heard me. :rotfl:

My husband still think he wants to eat one all alone. :rotfl2:

LOL I would probably have to start a post to meet people there so we could all split it. I dont think any one person could do it. You might die from an overload.

I highly recommend NOT eating a large meal prior to attempting the Kitchen Sink :rolleyes1

Check my June 08 trip report (link in Signature below) we got the Kitchen Sink after dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse. Lot's of pics & details in the TR :thumbsup2

ETA: page 4, post #46 is Kitchen Sink

We were at Beaches and cream last week and saw a few of the go by. I have to say it didn't look appetizing to me. It was just so many toppings, overkill IMO.

You want to do something really, really fun for your kids? Tell them that the Kitchen Sink IS their dinner!!! Thats what we did last April, it was a blast. It literally was all we had for dinner that night, ice cream.:goodvibes And they are two teenagers! What a fun time that was.:thumbsup2

We had the Kitchen Sink back in October 2004 - there were 6 of us. We couldn't eat it all. They even had whole candy bars in it. I am trying to convince my DH that we should do it again this trip for the 5 of us as my DD's love ice cream. It is good and a lot of fun for a night out. We didn't have a big dinner before we ate it. We did ask for the coffee ice cream to be replaced with I think Chocolate as no one ate coffee ice cream and we still don't. He told me no - we will see - hey you never know! Go and enjoy - highly recommend it!:yay:

One of the best parts of the kitchen sink is the commontion that goes on when it is served -- that's fun for everyone. We have never ordered one, but have fortunate to have been at the B&C many times when others have ...and, by the way, we have never seen anyone finish the entire thing.....

My family of 4 ordered one back in Dec 2007. The waitress was great and even let DD11 go behind the counter and put all of the toppings on the sundae. She had a blast. They also didn't have a problem substituting the coffee ice cream for us, either.

We really enjoyed the experience. I would love to get another one when we go in May, but I don't think the rest of the family is as into it as I am. So, I guess I'll just have to make do with one of the other very tasty sundaes on the menu.

Have fun!!

Had some time today, so here are pics from June 08:

oh yeah we've had one, and it was goooooooood:rotfl:

it was 4 of us, 2 adults 2 kids, we didn't get anywhere near finishing it but it was a good try. I'm thinking the 8 of us should go in June and have a better chance of finishing it :rotfl:

I really would love to try it. Would be a great surprise to sit my family down and tell them that they HAVE to finish it. HA!

I was thinking it was around $25.00. It melts really fast and looks kind of gross half way through. WAY too much sugar. Definately get it when you're hungry.
