High on my list of "things to do" is Beaches and Cream, where I really want to try a No Way Jose Sundae. But I hear that it can be a zoo, very crowded at times. Is this just at meal times? What if I go in mid-afternoon, 2:30-4:00 or so? How about after Illuminations, staying at BCV, having my Sundae as an evening snack there? When are the slow times there? Or at least the less busy times?

Last time we went, it was about 3pm. We only waited about 5 minutes but said we'd sit at the counter. My daughter enjoyed that. Tables were about a 30 min wait.

As far as after Illuminations, if you are taking the ice cream to go, no problem, there is a to go line for that. Eating there could be hit or miss depending how many others have the same idea.

I must admit, like soccer, I will NEVER get it when it comes to Beaches and Cream. It's a hamburger joint! I can think of 10 places in little old Lincoln, Nebraska (the former epicenter of college football, but that is another post!) that have better hamburgers and shakes.

Is the draw the fact that it is the only fast and casual choice at the YC?!
