I was only to get a table for 2 at 2 PM, and DH booked a table for 2 at 2:10. Should we ask to get tables near each other, or try to see if they can seat us together when we show up? We are with friends, and really would be OK with 2 and 2 if that’s all we can get.

Yes. All 4 of you should arrive by 1:45-1:50 PM and check in with the CM, not via MDE. Tell them you’re together and would like to be seated as close together as possible. They’ll do their best to seat you together or close by, but be ready to wait a little bit.
