Hi
After some advice or reccomendation please :goodvibes
Weve stayed at St Petes before @ the trade winds, which although a lovely hotel and wonderful location was full on convention people and very busy, were thinking of a beach stay 3 or 4 days and was looking atDisneys Vero beach but have read some very mixed reviews of it, anyone stayed here?...what did you think of it?...also how long does it take to drive down from the Disney Orlando area...?

We want somewhere with activities for kids, and more of a resort feel than just a regular hotel, price isnt too much of an issue, anyone suggest anywhere else, must be beachfronted, and big enough rooms for 6 or connecting rooms.
Thanks in Advance....
Terri x

We stayed at Vero Beach for 2 nights last March. It was a little chilly (70 degrees - but Florida was cold the whole winter) but the children were still in the pool and ocean. They were fixing up the beach so it should be beautiful now. We stayed in the main building not the villas and were very impressed with the room. My husband particularly enjoyed the fact that the lounge was directly across the hall from us (2nd floor). The restaurants were OK but found better ones in Vero Beach. We would go back again and next time bring our grandchildren. Enjoyed the whole Vero Beach area.
