Does BC share bus transport w/BW and swan/Dolphin? How about ferry service? Does BC have a hottub?

Beach Club shares Bus transportation w/ YC. Sometimes with BW on the way to AK or MK. On the way back from AK and MK bus may stop at Swan and Dolphin before stopping at YC and then BC.

Boat transportation to MGM is shared with Boardwalk and Swan/Dolphin. Of course you can just walk to Epcot.

There is a hot tub at the BC quiet pool and another at SAB.

Thanks!!! I am having a terrible time making up my mind on where to stay!!!
Poly is tempting, BC is too...we are booked for POR, but DH wants someting different(stayed at POR before & loved it) This will sadly be our last trip for quite a while(again, DH wants "to do something different!")We don't have alot of options because we have 3 kids. Free dining keeps us out of suites too. Gotta make up my mind before promo is over!!:scared:

This sounds like my family. We have stayed at POR 2 times. This year we are staying at BC as DH also wants to try something different. We have outgrown the size of the rooms and beds at POR, we also have 3 kids, but our trips there were wonderful. DH also would like to do something else next year but if he can't come up with anything better (is there anything better than Disney:confused: ) we'll be back:cool1: :goodvibes

I'm just hoping that we will be pleased with the BC. I've read some not so good things but most of what I've read has been favorable.:cheer2:

We leave in 26 days.

I visited the BC just to check it out on my last trip to WDW. Wow was i frustrated getting there just the one time I did it. Sharing a bus with not one, but two, non disney resorts?!? It took forever, it was way more crowded than my moderate resort bus and it was disasterous compared to WLs, this at a relatively slow time of year.

I loved the look and the lay out, but I don't know about that bus system. Boat transportation is always fun though. I think as someone who rents a car for only a couple days usually and not the entire stay, there is no way I would stay at that resort just on principle. That place is big bucks and splitting with Swan and Dolphin is just... cheap on Disney's part.

For me, the transportation at the Beach Club was a real big negative. Forty minutes to get from the Beach Club to the Magic Kingdom. Forty five minutes to get from Animal Kingdom to the Beach Club. After getting on the bus.:sad2:

We did a split stay last October between the Poly and the Beach Club. And I thought the kids would be much happier at the Beach Club. They love to swim, and I thought they would adore Storm Along Bay. But even they were complaining that we should have stayed back at the hotel with the monorail.

In the summer, the BC has a hot whirlpool and a cool whirlpool in Stormalong Bay. We had to share bus service with the YC, Swan, Dolphin and Boardwalk on our past trip in Feb. I think the Swan and Dolphin get their own service in the summer though.

We stayed at the BC and loved it, but I agree with others that the bus transportation was frustrating. Too many stops and wait times for the price of the resort. It actually discouraged us from hopping around to different parks from the resort since it took so long. We made our travels from Epcot most times as it was faster.:confused3
