Hi, can someone pls advise me if the Beach Club (or Yacht Club I know this is nearby, too) have any Counter Service restaurants. We will be on the DDP plan for the first time, and will be staying at the Beach Club. Also, if you know of any other Counter Service on the Boardwalk that we can use CS for meals, I will appreciate. Thanks :goodvibes

The Beach Club has Hurrican Hannah's Grill...That is outside by the pool and is open from 11:00-6:00...They also have a market place that you can get tons of snack items on the plan and quick foods...In the AM they have egg sandwiches, bagels, and other quick breakfast items and they other quick sandwiches, soups and other things you can grab throughout the day...There is a small seating area there...You can get the refill mug there for drinks...

Across the way at the Boardwalk counter options on the plan are even more limited...There is the Boardwalk Bakery which serves some yummy breakfast items, sandwiches, and other quick items throughout the day...There is a small seating area but it is outside on the Boardwalk...That is it for the plan there...

But remember you are a five minute walk from World Showcase at Epcot and you can always go in to grab a qucik bite on the plan there.

Beach Club Marketplace and Hurricane Hanna's both count as counter service meals, as does the Boardwalk Bakery. Beaches and Cream soda shop counts as a table service if you eat it there. Most people just get ice cream "to go", but the food there is actually very good. We've gone there for lunch several times and were never disappointed.:yay: And the Ale and Compass Lounge at the Yacht Club counts as counter service, but we've never tried it.

Thanks so very much for your quick responses!!! Very helpful. Good to know we can catch some quick CS from within the hotel, if the kids get a bit hungry. LongIsle Girl, looks like we will be there during the same time. We will be there 8/25. Also, from Beaches and Cream Soda Shop, the Ice Cream or Milk shakes, are they considered a snack credit????

Also, I just noticed both posters are from LI, NYC, me too!!! Do I get a vibe that there will be many from our area here? Small world!!!

We have used both CS and Snack credits at the Beachclub Marketplace. We have also eaten at Hurricane Hannah's with CS credits. In October we were at the BWV and the CS options on the Boardwalk side are now extremely limited. I believe it was only the Boardwalk Bakery. The Spoodles Pizza window no longer participates in the DDP, and the evening carts and vendors did not either.
We love the International CS in WS, so we were okay. We had park hoppers so that we could wander into EC any night to eat.
I do not think DDP credits of any kind can be used at Beaches and Cream.

Beaches and cream takes table service credits. The to go window may allow snack credits, but if i remember correctly they were very simple items( a scoop of ice cream or soda).all of their signature desserts like the No way jose or kitchen sink would best be paid for oop.
