Don't know which resort we should try next -- Beach Club, Yacht Club or the Boardwalk...

Going back to WDW in December. Never stayed in an Epcot resort. Which is the best of the three? I'm going with friends. Between the two families, there are four 3-year-olds and one infant (they have triplets). We're also looking forward to enjoying the Christmas festivities, decorations, etc. Finally, will it be to cold to swim the first week of December (i.e. Will we be able to use Stormalong Bay)?

Love to hear feedback! Thank you!!

I don't think you could go wrong with any of these 3. I have only stayed at YC--and I LOVED it!

The walk to Epcot is just so convenient! I would see where I could get the best rate and go with that one!

I agree with JulesMom, you really can't go wrong with any of the hotels, Althought the pool at the BC/Yc is really nice the kids are to young to relize a real nice pool from not a real nice pool. You're going to have a great time no matter what resort you pick, they are all nice.
:)

I love them all. Some things to consider:
YC & BC share a great pool, much better than the one at BW (which is still nice)
BC is the closest to Epcot
YC seems to be a little fancier than BC.
I've heard (but never had a problem myself) that the BW can get a little noisy, because of all the activity, restaurants, clubs, etc down on the Boardwalk.

I personally prefer the YC or BC, wherever I can get a better rate, because of the pool and the fact that you can get to all the cool stuff at the BW in a 4 minute walk, but not risk the noise.

This past trip I stayed at the Swan, because I booked too late to get a good rate at the others. It was nice too, also able to walk to Epcot and MGM and the Boardwalk.

We've always stayed at the BW and never had a problem with noise, but we've had a pool view, not a BW view. BW is wonderful, such a beautiful resort and so much happening so close by.

One other thing to consider - the BC and YC are going through a renovation. I believe by the time you go, the YC will be done but the BC will have floors closed/ may be noisy.

Thanks for the input... I guess I'll wait till the codes come out to see where I can get the best rate. The friends that are going with us already stayed at the Boardwalk (which they really liked), so now we're leaning towards the Beach Club -- but if there is going to be construction there, maybe the Yacht Club is it... Hmmm....decisions, decisions!

Thanks again!

I'd also pick YC over BC because the YC rooms all (?) have full balconies while many of the BC rooms do not. With kids that little, you may need a place to go during nap time!

I agree with YC. I originally wanted to stay at BC because
of the beach theme, but couldn't get my dates so opted for
YC. Now, I am glad after reading all the infor on this site. I
also think a full balconey in all the room are great. I enjoy
sitting outside and relaxing early am or late pm. Good luck
deciding. I think SAB sounds great for all age children.

Usually the rates for a standard room at YC/BC/BWI are all the same. I would vote for the BWI or YC. ;)

Here's another vote for the YC! We were just there two weeks ago, and although there is renovation going on, we didn't see or hear anything.

SAB is a wonderful pool area, and there is a nice shallow sandy beach area, that younger children love! I can't speak for the weather in December, but you might be able to swim. There are also full balconies in each room at the YC, and it is convenient to the BW and Epcot. :):D:)
