We are traveling as a group of 15. We have booked two 2BR villas. Basically a bedroom per family (8 adults, 7 children from ages 10-4).

Is there a specific location or type of villa that we should request even though I understand it can not be guaranteed?

Upper level/lower level, view, etc?

I'll post your question over there- this is the picture subforum, and not as many people see this. I know, lots of places to navigate.

I actually don't know a lot about the villa layouts, but we have a lot of experts who visit and post to the FAQ thread.

Do you want the two rooms to be close to each other if possible? If so, you may want to make that your request.
