Have searched on restaurant board but can't find info I need so hoping some fellow BCV owners can provide some info. We need a place for a quick lunch at BCV when we arrive around 1ish. Will be checking in and getting our DDP initiated. Our plan is to head to TL after lunch. I have checked the menu at AllEars but it doesn't list desserts. Are there any options for dessert with our counter service lunch? Thank you!

I'm guessing they will have the same type of packaged brownies and such that they have at the park CS locations.

We're at BCV now. The Market Place has a case of some desserts like cupcakes which look identical to the Boardwalk Bakery cupcakes. They also have yogurt parfaits in the fridge which maybe could be dessert credit too.

Btw, there are gluten free Baby Cakes pastries in the morning I noticed. If still available after breakfast, possibly those could be dessert as well.

The last time I was at BCV, about 6 months ago, they had a small bakery area with magic cookie bars (Oh, so good!), cupcakes, large cookies, muffins, etc. I also remember in the cooler case that they had refrigerated cupcakes, carrot cake, and whatever that tart is that's like a round pie with vanilla custard in the bottom and fruit on top. DM had it and has dreamed about how good it was.

The question is though, are all theses things available to use as your CS dessert item? Wondering anyone knows that?

Hurricane Hanna's out by the pool is a pretty good CS lunch too. :)

I just left the Marketplace. The cupcakes, slices of cake and slices of cheesecake along with cookies and muffins are dessert options with the meal plan. Much better selections than you will find in the parks.

Thanks for the intel!

I agree! I love the choc croissant and had it for QS dessert twice.

The only thing we found we couldn't use as a dessert option was the mixed fruit cup.

Forget about DD credits, they have 6 packs of Oreo bonbons at the marketplace.

Thank you for the responses. Just the info I was looking for. 3 weeks till we arrive:cool1:

Since we're talking about the food options at BCV, .... I hadn't realized that Hurricane Hannah's had been redone .... we walked past during our visit last week and it looks like they have a full bar with stools now. I don't remember that being out there in years past.

I had the cheesecake at BC Marketplace a couple of weeks ago and it was really good!
