Beach Club Villas or Yacht Club Villas?

If they had built YCV instead of BCV, I doubt if we would have become members. We stayed at YC once and that was enough. It was nice just didn't like the ambience as well as at the BC.

I do prefer the lobby of the YC and even more so now after the latest refurbishment of the BC lobby.

I never thought the lobby of the BC was anything special.
I also wasn't aware of a recent refurb. Does anyone have any picks of the new BC lobby?

I agree completely.

we got a lagoon view at YC - problem was it make the halls at BWV look small.

the room was lovely, the view was great - but getting to that room. of course that was one of those trips where mother refused to use the wheelchair. So that may have been my big problem.

have always loved the BC. It has a more relaxed atmosphere. (I don't like the GF either - so don't even go there)

I own at Beach Club but would also love to see a DVC at Yacht Club. I just enjoy this whole area. We would sell or BWV points in a heart beat to pick up a couple of hundred Yacht Club points.

I voted for BCV, but I hope someday they add one at YC too. I love the decor of the BCV rooms and some of the views are very good. At YC I don't think the views would be as good (of fireworks anyway).

BCV because of the short walk home from Epcot and being able to get a fireworks view. But it might be nice to have a YCV to give DVC a new 50 year resort on that highly sought after location between the Studios and Epcot.
