Beach Club Villas? Hi all, this is my first time posting, as I have just discovered this wonderful site! I have a disney trip planned for the second week of Jan. 2003. I have reserved a one bedroom at the Beach Club Villa. We usually stay at Dixie Landings, but since we have a child now, we love the idea of having a full kitchen, and more room to spread out! Has anyone stayed there, any thoughts regarding this hotel? Also, we usually take our Disney trips in early Dec., when the crowds are sparse, I'm thinking early Jan will also have small crowds? Any feedback is appreciated!

Hello & welcome to the DIS!
You may not get a lot of feedback here on the BCV because they just opened in July. All of the reviews I've read are over on the DVC/Disney Vacation Club board. It sounds very nice. The location is convenient. The washer/dryer, kitchen & whirlpool tub are great features! Plus, the resort will be less than a year old when you stay there!

You can get to the DVD board by going back to the main forums page

As for crowds in January, I believe they are low the whole month, except for around Martin Luther King day weekend. We were there the first week once (we left NJ on Jan 1 by car) and I don't remember waiting on a lot of lines, but it was 8 years ago! We're planning on late jan/early feb this year, some time between the 2 holiday weekends (MLK & presidents)
