Beach Club to Grand Floridian...which way is the quickest?

Hello! We are staying at BWV, but one night we are going to Victoria & Alberts for dinner, and the kids will spend time in the kids' club at the Beach Club Resort. So, we will be traveling from the Beach Club to the GF. We would like to avoid driving, as DH and I would like to do the wine pairings. Which way would be the quickest to get to the GF from the Beach Club of the three below?

1. Boat to DHS, then bus to Grand Floridian.

2. Bus to MK, then monorail to GF.

3. Bus to MK, then boat to GF.

If there is even a better way using WDW transportation, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

#2 is quicker.
# 1 is pretty romantic though in the evening on the boat, but then you have to walk all the way over to the buses, so my first choice still stands.

But if a boat is pulling in to go to GF as you are walking to the monorail, take the boat.

Any of those would work, but I would just spring for a cab. It would be around $50 round trip, but it would save you a lot of time.

At the very least, I would take a cab back to the beach club after dinner.

As Alesia said, I would spring for a cab. You'll be all dressed up for dinner, so the last thing I would want to do is deal with multiple transportation changes and the potential to get grubby.

If you do opt to use Disney transportation, I would go with either #1 or #2. They're pretty interchangable to me, so it's mostly a matter of whether you like the boat/bus or bus/monorail combination better. I would not opt for option #3. The boat from MK to GF is fun, but there is the potential to get a little wet (misted mostly) and it's pretty windy, so your hair is likely to get pretty windblown by the time you get to GF.

Got to agree with Alesia on this one, spring for a cab. All dressed up you don't want to be outside perspiring while waiting for the bus/monorail in order to get there. You also probably don't want to get "crumpled" up if there are a lot of people on the vehicle with you.

Cabs are easy, and not terribly expensive from one resort to another. Just walk out to the BC porte cochere and ask them to call a cab for you. There will likely be one there in less than a minute. When leaving the GF after your meal, the same procedure will get you a cab back to the BC.

Have a marvelous time at V&A.

Thanks for the tip about the boat from MK to GF. I'm so used to the boat by the Boardwalk, which is usually a very calm ride.

One more thing to add...how long do you think it would take if we take the boat from BC to DHS, then the bus to GF? We are dropping off the kids at the kids' club an hour and a half before our reservation. Enough time to travel?

We do have them scheduled to arrive at the kids' club an hour and a half before our reservation, but on the way back it would make a difference in the time. I'm gonnalook into the website you posted. Thanks!

You usually do not have to schedule a taxi cab in advance from one of the Deluxe resorts. In my experience, whenever I've needed to get a cab at one of the Deluxe resorts there have always been one waiting near valet (at the taxi stand). I certainly understand not wanting to chance that there aren't any taxis waiting, but I don't think you need to get one that far ahead of your reservation. It only takes about 15 minutes to get from the Beach Club to the Grand Floridian, so I would think an hour would be plenty of time.

Ah, that makes much more sense. I read it to mean she had already set-up a taxi to have it waiting at the BC 90 minutes before their ADR. Having the kids start at the Kid's Club 90 minutes early makes much more sense.
