Here's a video of the full Illuminations show shot from the front of the Rose and Crown. We originally had an ADR booked for 7:10. When we turned up we asked for a patio seat and were told they would page us when a table became free if we were willing to wait. It was well past 8 o'clock by the time one became available (not that we were complaining!) , there was then some problem with the table we were allocated - it hadn't been cleared (although again, we didn't mind waiting - it was all starting to resemble the Monty Python 'dirty fork' sketch) so were then given a seat right at the front of the patio with a spectacular view of the fireworks:
