Beach Club Resort v Beach Club Villas

Is there any major differences between the beach club standard rooms booked through Disney and the studio DVC rooms? We stayed there 5 years ago in a regular room, and have since stayed at a few other DVC resorts, and now we are looking to buy and are considering getting a contract at BC.

BCV - 365 SF. A studio has a queen bed and a pull out couch - sleep 4

BC or YC standard room - 381 SF. These standard cash rooms have 2 queens beds and a day bed and/or sleeper chair. They sleep five.

Yes we've stayed at DVC studio at AKV, BWV, and OKW.

I guess I mean how nice it is, not so much the layout.

I have stayed at BC and a 2 bedroom at BCV. To me the BC rooms are luxurious, deluxe hotel feeling. BCV rooms feel like a beach house, very relaxing.

Yeah, villas rooms are more casual - they are also maintained to timeshare standards, not hotel standards - that means more wear and tear, which along with the more casual style to start with - means some people are disappointed.
