For the last two years, DH and I have stayed at AKL (last year we got an upgrade to Savannah view, with a corner room for $109 a night!). So we are a little spoiled with rates.
This year we booked AKL again, but for $220 a night. EEEKK! I've been calling with the BAT code, but no luck.
Today: BINGO!!! We have the BC at $200/night! I've stayed there one night, but DH has never been. We are big fans of the Food and Wine Festival, and Epcot is our favorite park. I know he will be thrilled! I am! We will still have to eat at Jiko's.
Any good advice? I've eaten at Cape May Cafe, but I know DH will miss the food courts. Can we get a coffee maker?

Thanks!!

(Can you tell I'm excited?)

Yes, you can ask to have a coffee maker deliver to your room when you check in. You will need to bring your own coffee. You can also get coffee in the AM at the little area to the right of Cape May Cafe just off the lobby.

Beaches and Creme is a favorite for burgers, hot dogs and of course Ice Cream.

Beach Club is our favorite resort. You will have a blast.

Then you will love the short walk to Epcot via the International Gateway.

You can walk around the lake to the Boardwalk and eat at Spoodles, ESPN Club, or the Flying Fish. Of course Epcot has lots of places to eat.

Have fun on your trip.

We've considered BC our home resort for several years now.

The kids love it and I love the location.

We don't eat more than once a visit at Beaches and Cream. Long wait and a little over-priced but a nice stop for one meal.

I love Yacht Club Galley, Flying Fish (Boardwalk), Shula's at the Dolphin, and the Sushi place at the Swan.

Second favorites are Cape May, Palio at Dolphin, ESPN and Spoodles at Boardwalk.

Hope you like to walk...the BC is a great resort for walkers...so enjoyable to stroll early am or late pm to S&D, BW, EPCOT, or MGM.

THere's a miniture golf course on the far side of Swan...that's a nice walk too.

Enjoy your stay.

We're not big sit-down breakfast eaters... DH has always gone to the food court and brought back yogurt and a muffin for us to share. Any ideas on where to go for a quick bite, or to bring food back to the room?
Thanks!
Dee

The the little area to the right of Cape May Cafe just off the lobby mentioned above also has muffins and a few other continental type items.
