If you want a full balcony, I'd just request that.

Once we stayed over looking the back entrance (courtyard) where you exit to go to EPCOT and the Boardwalk. We had a fake balcony. You can't go on it. But I loved the view. We also stayed towards the side in the back where we had a nice balcony with a great view of the EPCOT ball. Both are nice views but we do like having a balcony to sit and coffee. I would have loved a balcony over the back entrance.

If a balcony is your most important request, I'd just put in that for room request, a full balcony.
