Beach Club $1600 for 5 nights and a family of 5?

A family friend told my wife at a b-day party over the weekend that they are traveling to Disney next week.

She claims to have gotten a room at the Beach Club for her family of 5 for only $1600 for 4 nights.

This sounds impossible to me...

What is so impossible about paying $400/night at the Beach Club? Sounds about right to me...

They could be renting points to stay in a 1 bedroom at the Beach Club Villas.

I rented a 1br villa at the Beach club this past 4th of July Week (6/30-7/7) for $1400. We had a great time!

I just went to the WDW site and punched in September 15-19, 2A 3C. $1620 for Beach Club in a Garden View room.

Are you thinking she meant the total included tickets and dining?

That is more per night than YC just cost us a few weeks ago.

I agree. Sounds right to me for many times of the year. Someone yesterday was just complaining that the rooms at BC and BW were just over $300 or so for their trip dates. We have a bounceback there for October for $280 or so (that's 35% off).

Wow, that's actually really expensive if it doesn't include tickets or dining...etc. We are spending roughly 4000 for 2 adults/4 children at a value with tickets and upgraded dining for 8 nights. I wish we could stay at the BC...maybe one day

Sounds right. You can do better with a 30% off room rate at a different time. I just pulled $263/night for December.
