<b>Be the change you want to see in the world.</b>
I ran across this Gandhi quote and fell in love with it. I'm going to make it my personal motto. I was thinking about how we all tend to justify things we do by saying that someone else has done it to us. Like in political debates, people say "The democrats (or the republicans) do the same thing" when people accuse them of unfair debating.
You don't even have to think of it as being kind, or giving in. Just think of it as being the one who is willing to take the first step in changing the world.
Here's what I'm willing (try very hard! ) to do: I will never say that behavior is justified because everyone else does it. And I'm going to give up gossiping.
