I have a reservation for myself at BOG at 8:20am.

1 question- I'm not a big breakfast eater. I want to get a cup of coffee and their possibly a cupcake. But if I'm not feeling up to eating, is it rude to take up a table for 10 minuets if I still tip? Will I be told to leave? I really wanted to check out the castle, and it's a bonus I'll be at the park early for my 8:20 reservation. Already have other lunch plans that day.

2nd question, I'm staying at All Star Sports. What time would I catch the bus? When do the buses start running? I looked up when Disney's transportation starts and it says 45 minutes before park opening. But my reservation is 40 minutes before the park opens. How would this work?

That is not an option at breakfast. You cannot just get a beverage (save a Buzz Lightyear thingy or a fountain goblet), and they do not offer cupcakes at breakfast.

Breakfast is a price fixe quick service. There is no tipping or a la carte menu.

It sounds like this is not a good ADR for you.

When I went to pre-order, cupcakes are offered. Unless that's a mistake.

There's no tipping required for breakfast at BOG. Breakfast and lunch are CS there. It's only TS at dinner. I suppose if you have an ADR and you purchase something, you're as much a customer as anyone else.

That's kind of what I thought. I'm spending a boatload to be at Disney... and as long as it's not breaking the rules, I don't really see anything wrong with it... But I've also never been to BOG, and only been to Disney once. I plan on doing character meals, but I don't have the lunch or dinner availability to see BOG again.

The only options are prix fixe meals- kids $14, adults $22. There are no single serving items available in lieu of one of those meals. You could get a kids meal with no problem, though.

Oh I see! Thanks!

Just got off the phone with Disney, and yep indeed I can order from the kids meal! So I might do just that!

Will they charge you the adult price if you are an adult ordering a child selection?

Adults have been ordering kid's meals at BoG breakfast at the kid's price since they first started doing breakfast, so OP is good to go as long as she orders a meal.

Prices just went up today and they did add an ala carte cupcake so your order was correct. Someone from another thread called and they will allow you to just order coffee and a cupcake.

Yeah, it was the OP from this thread that posted on the other thread that she had called.

Yep, the menu/price change went public today.

The new pricing is crazytown.

I do have to say, though, that I quite enjoyed my breakfast at BOG and I'm not normally a breakfast eater. I went primarily because I wanted to see it (and see how well it worked for them to find us using our magic bands - we're kind of technology geeks). I knew DH would definitely want a full breakfast so I wasn't worried about us not ordering much and I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. I had the croque madame and it was really tasty as were the pastries. Maybe try one of the kid's meals if you don't want a large amount of food - the kid's menu actually looks quite good especially the crepe and yoghurt. Coffee was so-so but the rest made up for it. I'd probably go again for breakfast.

The $14 crepes and yogurt. Without a drink.

Apparently drinks are included when you actually book your meal.

I assume the a la carte drinks are for those who are not ordering a meal (ie you can share someone elses entree but you need your own drink).

That makes it mildly better, I suppose.
