Be Our Guest reservation during MNSSHP

So my wife and I have a bet going to see who's right and wrong, so you be the judges. We plan on visiting MK the same day as MNSSHP, but she does not want to attend the Halloween party this trip. We have never been able to book Be Our Guest on any other trip to WDW, so when we were making dining reservations, I was shocked that it was available and immediately made a reservation not even noticing that it does state that it's during the Halloween party. So, the question is can you dine here w/out having MNSSHP tickets, or can you only go if you do have tickets to the Halloween party? Thanks everyone!

Depends on what time your ADR is. If the time is after 6:00 p.m., you'll need tickets. If the ADR is before 6:00 p.m., then you won't need tickets.

Since you say it does state that it's DURING the party, my guess is you've made an ADR that will require a ticket. The wording is there to warn you that without a ticket, you will not be admitted.

On the dining area of the WDW website, they have separated Be Our Guest ADRs that are available before and during the party. If you made the reservation by clicking on times available under "Be Our Guest Restaurant" and it's prior to 6:00 pm, you're fine. If you clicked on a time under "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Dining" and it after 6:00 pm, you'll need tickets to the party.

If you buy tickets, I would seriously consider trying to move that BOG reservation to prior to the party so you can actually go to the party!

The only reservations left are ones during the party, but I understand why you're recommending this. Probably the same reason why there's still 3 reservations left. That said, I will keep my eye open for cancelations prior to 6:00pm. Thanks for the tip!

Allow at least 90 minutes for dinner. I believe last year many reports were delays and dinner being 2 hours long.

We did that last October. Had ADRs at 6 pm at BoG. Didn't have tickets to MNSSHP. Had no issues.
When we were finished with our meal, slowly walked out toward the exit. Got to see part of the parade and then left.
Really enjoyed the meal.
If you had tickets to MNSSHP, I would not waste that much time at a restaurant. Without party tickets, we really enjoyed it.

I know you're kidding, but the lobby of what? You can't get to the "lobby" of BoG without checking in at the little hut at the bridge and that is where they'll ask you for your party ticket, if needed.

We went to liberty tree during the Christmas party last year and our reservations were at 6:30. Didn't have any problems at all. We got out just in time to see the castle show and whatnot. Not one cast member gave us a problem.
