Was just getting ready to place our "pre-order" for BOG lunch next week and don't really see a whole lot to choose from. Can anyone give me their opinion for the best thing for lunch from there? Thanks so much. :thanks:

The Braised Pork or roast beef sandwich. I've enjoyed both & found they were consistently good.

The Roast Beef sandwich is by far my favorite. So good I have it every trip. I hear rave reviews about the turkey sandwich as well.

The braised pork is good, but has always been a bit too salty when we've had it.

My wife and I split the turkey sandwich and we both had the potato leek soup as well. We loved them both. One of the best quick service meals of the trip.

Roast Beef sandwich for me, Braised Pork for DS and Croque Monsieur for DH

If using the dining plan can adults order off the kids menu? My daughter is classified as an adult but would rather have one of the kids meals. Is this possible?

If traveling with another adult who likes to share, get the roast beef sandwich and braised pork and split. Normally I don't like to split food, but it was worth it here. Oh and def. get the french onion soup. It's excellent.

Yes, adult QS credits can be used on either. (Most places don't differentiate between adult and child QS credits.)

6 months ago...."Whooooohooooooo...we got a BoG reservation."

Now...."We don't like anything on their menu"

LOL
:lmao:

Seen on FB: "We were able to get an ADR at 'Ohana*! What should we order???"

*I wrote 'Ohana, but of course they were going to "O'hanas," that Irish fusion place.

DH and I have been there twice for lunch and we enjoyed it each time.

The first time. I got the turkey sandwich and he got the braised pork. The second time, I got the French onion soup (and a cupcake) and he got the kid's pasta, which I believe is some kind of whole grain noodle and marinara sauce, IIRC.

We were in the same position but oh so pleasantly surprised.
I got the croque monsier (sp?). Basically grilled ham and cheese--DELICIOUS!!!!!
DD14 got braised pork (highly recommended here) and LOVED It
DH got Roast Beef sandwich and also really enjoyed, my DD!& ate some of this and loved it too
DD17 got potato leek soup(she was scared of the "leek" on the menu) and LOVED it along with some pomme frites.
Got 1 of the master's cupcakes to split.

Overall, the entire meal was well worth it, pre-ordering is the only way to go! Eating in the ballroom=priceless! I could not get over the theming of this restaurant, it was truly magical.
