Hi, we are here now and ate at Be Our Guest last night. I will have a better review with pics when I get home, but just wanted to say it was so much better (food-wise) than I anticipated after reading so many mixed reviews. Not the best meal I ever ate, but not bad at all. The surroundings are fantastic, we sat in the West Wing. My main comment about the food is that most everything was too salty for me. My family had the pork, the chicken, the steak, the charcuterie platter, potato and French onion soups and a variety of desserts.

We went last week. I too was pleasantly surprised. I think everyone's bad experiences reduced any expectation I may have had for a culinary delight. I had the steak and it was pretty good. Nothing like the steak I had at the Brown Derby or Yachtsman, but it was okay. The beans were really good. We were celebrating an anniversary, so we got the grey stuff. It was a little oreo mousse, which was what I expected. I thought the atmosphere and the staff were well worth the effort i made to get the reservation, and I thought Beast's parade through the castle was cute. I will go back, especially with kids.

Our anniversary was listed on all our ADRs and they didn't mention it or give us the grey stuff which I admit I was disappointed about. Tonight we ate at Captain's Grille (a great meal which I will also review when I'm home) and our server not only said Happy Anniversary to us, but gave us a little chocolate mousse dome and a bag of saltwater taffy with balloons.

Funny thing is the only thing I didn't like at BOG were the beans!

We ate dinner here last week for the first time and I have to admit it was very good. DH & I split the chicken dish and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I tasted DD's steak and thought it was cooked and seasoned very well. We all agreed we'd go again.
