I only came to post so Charlie could get another response to this thread. I think he's losing it. He began repeating himself in another thread where he was whining about the lack of response on this thread.

I don't care about the smilies one way or another. I rarely use them, just too lazy. Plus my fave, the teeth guy, isn't in the first group. Like I said....lazy.

charlie, charlie, charlie, you know we love you. But, I have to say that I cannot in good conscience punish the entire species of smilies for the horrible actions of one.
Their entire existance is for the benefit of people like me, I need them. And in turn, they need me to feel complete and useful.

I am so terribley sorry for your nightmares and the loss of those 100 people. It is indeed a horrible thing. But, I cannot say I'm surprised at the outcome. Did you get a good look at that smilie? He was humongous. Now, I wouldn't normally say anything about the size, not lady-like you see, but size does matter, when it's useful and pleasant.
But he wasn't. He would never fit on a message or letter to anyone. He just wouldn't fit. I'm not surprised in his feelings of worthlessness that he turned angry and violent. He was useless. A lone useless smilie. It's so sad. He needs help, locked up, but help too.

Again, please don't condemn the rest of the smilies to the same fate. They need to feel useful and they need us. It's for our benefit in more ways than one.

Oh not at all. I think it is a matter of public service. I am sure that charlie has a ton of other things he could be doing but only out of the gracious nature of his heart does he skip doing the stuff like mowing the lawn and having a colon exam to share these important thoughts with us.

What do they say about a prophet not being headed in his land or regular URL?

Oh and Charlie I was going to report that other thread to a mod in case they didn't see it.
