OK... very tired. But my dream job is to be a plade. I know so much about Disney. I could wipe the sidewalks up , tell you who walked on them and clean up with rags that had Walt's signature.

Just joking... I have a rash sense of humor. But, yeah, I would be the best. I don't say much great about myself, but I could definitely wear that uniform with pride.

Plaid is a term for one of the VIP tour guests that wear that certain uniform. It's a generic term, like when I was a Trooper Trainee called a "Boot." I'm really surprised you guys didn't know. They wear plaid uniforms. At guest services, they have plain shoulder patches.

One of the things that makes me happy is that someone learns something new every day. I got to to teach you something.

Yeah, except at first you spelled plaid wrong, and if that was supposed to be a joke, it fell a bit flat, IMO.

Yes, I did spell it wrong initially. Auto correct on my computer isn't always the best.

And about the joke, sorry you feel that way. We all have different senses of humor. Thanks for the insult.

Just a knowledge of Disney doesn't make a good guest services person. They are very kind and always ready to help someone. It is also very hard to get into and most people have to do a temporary assignment to see if they are a good fit.

You would never hear them call another CM rude.

Did I call someone rude?

I just edited that out because I realized that that the thread was removed yesterday. Maybe you can apply when Disney opens up hiring.

Oh... I know what you are referencing. I did say rude. And, thanks for the vote of confidence, but it's a pipe dream. Disney has an obligation to bring back laid off cast first so I don't see much hiring, I also just in the last year got a Disney sleeve on my arm (visible tattoo are not allowed, and believe me, I'm not wearing a long sleeve shirt in Florida weather), and the wife and I are relocating to NC. So, just a musing about what I would love to be able to do.

Get up on your stuff!

Didn't mean for my opinion to come off as insulting - sorry about that. BTW, Plaids don't wipe sidewalks, etc. That's what I thought you were joking about. There are different categories of CMs, one being a plaid.

No problem... it was a stupid joke that I was making.
