BDRog, what are you gonna do now that Mardi Gras......I GOT A CART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the way lifted carts look too....but if you lift without spacing your wheels, you're asking for it. And even then...you gotta use extra caution on turns.....stupid things usually only happen to stupid (or drunk) people.

Speaking of Mardi Gras....

BigDaddyRog, do you have any idea why there were so many people from La. at the Fort and throughout DW last week? I'm being serious with this question.

Of course, there are always a bunch of Canadians and Yankees down there in the wintertime but we were very surprised at how many people we met or saw that were from Louisiana. Lots of La. license plates, La. t-shirts, and I couldn't even begin to count all the LSU t-shirts throughout the parks.

Also, we noticed a whole bunch of tour groups from Brazil and some other countries and of course met several families from the UK. We had a CM confirm they had quite a few people there from other countries compared to usual.

New Orleans' locals' kids' have off of school the week of mardi gras...so that makes it easy for families to get away....not to mention, any locals with any sense at all get the hell outta dodge if at all possible for mardi gras...the city is a mess, traffic is a nightmare, and I would say that over 70% of locals havent been to a parade since they were teens...unless they have small kids, in which case they may force themselves to let the kids see what its all about...but they do it in the suburbs...not actually in New Orleans. If it wasnt for the money that comes into town during mardi gras...Id have been at the fort too!!!!

That's makes perfect sense. Thanks for the clarification.

You would be surprised how stable a lifted cart is. The only time I ever came close to rolling my cart there was no lift on it. I would get going pretty fast lock up the brakes and cut the wheel. Lots of fun but a little dangerous.

Have you tried that on a lifted car? I wouldnt.....ok, I probably WOULD, but I'd expect to get hurt,....no pain, no gain!!!!;)

Only in gravel and I was not going as fast. But still fun. Still makes the DW a little nervous. :confused3

Not bad. Ya figured out how to get the tobacky stains off the side. Those Alabammy golfers always got a chew of Redman in their mouths. Probably got a rebel flag painted on the other side with the saying "The South will Rise Again"

IR is Ingersoll Rand who makes them. Just a little thing they put on their carts. Congrats and Good luck.
