My BFF and I are traveling to WDW on her birthday, I'm I reading correctly that Disney no longer offers a free ticket? I was also reading on the volunteer program but looks like there are some blackout dates, which is when I will be there.

The theme park tickets distributed under this Program will not be valid for use on the following dates:
For Walt Disney World® Resort: March 29 - April 8 and July 4, 2010

Correct. Bday promo was last year. Now it is a volunteer deal. Give a day, get a Diz day.

Can you do more than one day to get more than one day free?

Thanks!

You gotta remember, Disney is a true MASTER at marketing. You get a *teaser* which will drive you to still spend more money. THEY KNOW THAT. Period.
There's no free lunch (well......except when they have free dining, LOL).

I'm guessing they will definitely bring back the free birthday day. Why wouldn't they? Or, they will continue to have Give a day, Get a day. It's to their benefit. Not many people can go for only one day, and people think they are getting so much.

Who Knows What EVIL Lurks In The Heart Of Disney Marketing?!

When Disney feels ready to implement their next promotion they will do so. If other recent promotions have been any indication, for about the first month nobody will really understand it and the Marketing people will not have thought out all the ramifications.
