BCV what are the kids activities like

We're planning on saying there the end of August 2011. I have 4 kids 3,5,9,9 at the time of our vacation. What's the community room like? What are the activities around the pool like?

We usually pool hop but do kids actually want to hop when they have SAB?

There is no Community Hall at BCV. The closest would be over at Boardwalk Villas.

There is a lot of fun things going on at the pool in the afternoons though - same as most of the other deluxes - little dance things, games.

SAB was enough to keep my kids entertained most of the day. At night they had a marshmallow roast on the beach, and a movie on the beach I think on certain nights? I can't remember if it was everynight. Plus, you can walk to the Boardwalk which has mimes, clowns, etc, which my kids really enjoyed.

The pool is an all day adventure! Be sure to investigate everywhere to see the smaller kids area which is like a beach, hidden hottubs, the large pirate ship slid as well as the kidde pool on the other side of the sidewalk. Beaches and Cream ice cream shop is right there and don't forget the large arcade as well! The activities just a short walk around the lake to the Boardwalk also make this my favorite location in all of Disney!

I agree, the pool area is an adventure in itself. The age of your kids would be perfect. We went several time when the kids were small and it was the best. However, last year, kids 15 and 11 didn't use the sandy pool area, they have a lazy river that age appropriate for older kids and you never outgrow the waterslide!

Thanks - they love the community room at BLT but we usually go when its cooler. I take it we're allowed to visit the one at BW - we'll probably hit it once or twice but when I saw that pool all I thought was "I'm never going to get them into the park!!!"
