BCV was GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!!!!!!

We just got back yesterday from a great trip! We had a 1 bedroom villa and our friends had a studio. We really loved the BC and the kids loved storm along bay although I think they liked the quiet pool at the villas better, thats where they spent most of their swim time.

I think my husband might look at DVC after this stay. It was really great.

I have seen room photos of BCV and think they look wonderful. One day I would love to stay there in a 2 bed villa So glad you loved it - what view did you have from your balcony ?

You have learned the lesson of staying in a 1 bedroom villa. You can never go back! That's how we ended up joining DVC.

We were on the second floor in room 271 and our friends were in room 275 we had an Epcot view and the road, we could see the top of the ball and the top of the Immagination building, we could see the high fireworks from Illuminations. I loved the tub, the kitchen for breakfast, and the balcony. The kids loved the quiet pool at the villas.

Friday night (6/13) to Tues was wonderful sun no rain, Wed. the rain started (not much) but come Thurs. RAIN, all day Thurs. Fri. RAIN pouring at times (ran us out of IOA). All in all we had a great time rain or sun.

The entire BC is a beautiful resort, The walk to Epcot was very nice and the boat ride to MGM was nice also, we always seemed to walk up right when the boat ws pulling up or coming that way from the BW dock. I don't think I can stay at the AS ever again now, maybe never in a regular room again! I'll find out in Oct. when my DSIL and I stay at the Swan for the F&WF. I hope you get the points to rent you will love BCV.

Hope you get to buy DVC - it's really hard to go back once you've experienced the quality of the DVC properties. Glad you had a great trip.

You're doomed now. Take your home equity line checkbook when you "look at" DVC. (We bought sight unseen at BCV and have no regrets.)

The BCV quiet pool is nice but not particularly large; it doesn't have a slide nor is it themed in any way, typical of quiet pools at WDW.

the quiet pool was not large and no slide, but the kids loved it I think because at SAB I was so worried about them getting too far away from us that they could not be as free as they could be at the smaller pool and they loved to go and swim at night after we got back from the parks for a little bit. The hot tub was nice at the quiet pool also. We could sit in it and see the kids in the pool.

I almost talked my DH into going on the DVC tour, but I'm still working on him. He is not a Disney nut and does not go with the kids and I on every trip. We have been 7 times and he has been 3 now, but he was impressed with the BCV. And he likes the fact that you can use you points for other places besides WDW. I also talked him into the DCL on this trip for next year, so it was a productive trip for me!

It's true what everyone is saying, "Once you stayed at a DVC property, you never want to go back to a hotel room again!"

Pinnie: I'm think you all are right, I think all future trips will have to be in a villa!! So my DH should just give in and buy in to DVC. I'm a little worried about my Oct. trip at the Swan, but the $81 hotwire rate should make it all better!!!
