Hello - We are approaching our 7 month mark and contemplating trying to switch from our home resort (AKL) for 6 or 5 nights. Thinking about what options may be available and trying to rank them in order of priority. We are flexible, but don't have unlimited points ;)

Anyone with recent experience staying at BCV, CCV or BRV in a 2BR that could give me pros/cons of each? Interested in room quality/upkeep, dining, comfort, etc. I know that BRV is slated for refurb in the next few years, and have heard that certain furnishings are looking a bit worn. FWIW, will be traveling with DH, DS 13 and DD 11.

Personally, I have always wanted to stay at BCV, but don't know whether that is a pipe dream given SWGE and the popularity of the Epcot resorts. Also contemplating Riviera, but the points required...ouch!

TIA!

So location there is not really an edge to CCV or BRV in my opinion. The only edge to CCV is it's in the main lodge building but that saves a couple minutes at max to the main feature pool and quick service locations.

In terms of upkeep I would guess that CCV is probably the best in terms of shape with it being the newest of the 3 you recommend with BRV being towards the bottoms because it's last refresh was before BCV and was done a bit "cheaper" which is why it is being updated again so quickly. CCV will have newest fads in the bathrooms (rainfall shower heads, bubble tub) where BRV and BCV will be identical basically to each other (jetted tub and standard showers/tubs). The kitchen layout in CCV is galley style so less prep space if that matters to you where BCV and BRV are the standard U shape kitchens providing more counter space.

In terms of size I really don't think is much difference but BCV and BRV are commonly quoted as feeling more roomy in the living room but in reality the entire livable space difference is only 20-30 square feet so with only 4 in the room total (from what I gather) I really don't think you will notice any difference.

Now the biggest difference is pools and location between BRV/CCV and BCV. If you want a more feature pool and closer to Epcot/HS, and these are most important, then BCV is really the ticket. If you want new, closer to MK, more remote, and better room views I would suggest CCV. If you want even more quite/serene (but they are a little worse for wear) I would recommend BRV. But in reality between any of them you can't go wrong.

The biggest thing for me is CCV does not have carpet its hardwood throughout (with the exception of an area rug in the living room).

Personally I find CCV to be the nicest of those resorts, but BCV has the best pool. It also comes down to which Park you want to be closest to.

We just stayed at CCV in a 2 bedroom in May. The room itself was lovely. Clean ,new and up to date. Our views were of the main feature pool which included the geyser and Bay Lake. The room has three entries onto the balcony from the master, living area and second bedroom. I would say the only drawback is if you are on a higher floor as we were (5th) the elevator is at only one end of the building and we ended up taking the stairs a lot especially from the pools and Geyser Point. At the end of a long park day it could be tough. Other than that I will be sure to stay there again!

Thanks everyone for their input so far. Very helpful! I’m torn between CCV and BCV but availability will be the biggest factor. I’m sure either would be a fine choice (as well as staying at AKL, but we wanted to try something different for this trip).

We owned at BCV, now own at BR but a few of our last few stays were at CC. I love all 3 of your choices. Copper Creek has a smaller living room/kitchen area. The bedrooms feel larger. So when we had 5 in a 2BR at CC, we noticed that is was not as comfortable for us 5 to gather together and hang out, eat, watch TV or whatever. So maybe for 4 that would be less noticeable. I loved the bathrooms, with the handheld sprayer in each shower area. CC feels newer and more modern, and I love that too.

We found the CC rooms on upper floors that are near the end of the hallway to have better views. We had 2 different elevators, up to the top floor, not sure why someone thought otherwise? Maybe I misunderstood that.

We had a 1BR at BR in January, no real complaints, the building location is great. BR Lobby is fantastic. I do look forward to the renovation, with one thing being replacing the pullout sleeper sofa. But we liked it.

Nothing bad to say about BCV, we decided to sell there because we preferred WL with all the new amenities, restaurants, etc over BC. ( Our kids are grown.) You cannot go wrong with any of these.

We own at BC and BR. Just returned from a two bedroom trip with no complaints at BR. Then again, we are really partial to the boat ride to MK from that area. Pool is great at BC so I agree that any of your choices will give you a great experience.
