We have always wanted to stay at the BCV. We have stayed at the BC several times, last time being on our honeymoon. We are staying at BCV for 3 nights prior to our cruise on the Fantasy. Rented a studio but just looked at the pictures and just saw the only room layout with two real beds is the 2 bedroom. Am I reading that right? I'm not sure my almost 5 year old will be comfortable with a night on the pullout sofa bed. Are there any studios with 2 real beds at BCV? Any recommendations?

Sofabeds have come a long way since the "metal-bar-in-your-back-all-night" days and Disney's are very comfortable. I have spent several nights on one and found it extremely comfortable. Your 5 year old should be fine.

Oh good to know. Otherwise it will be myself and my 6'4" husband in that sofa bed. :)

you are kidding, right? I would NEVER make someone who is 6'4" sleep on a full size pull out and give a 5 year old the queen sized bed. If your 5 year old doesn't like the bed pulled out, let him sleep on it while it's still a sofa. Kids like "adventures" like that. Heck, when my kids were little, they always wanted to sleep on the floor!

I slept on the pull-out at VWL and it is fine. Your 5 year old will be more than fine!

Yes and no. My daughter has slept with us when a pullout has been bad. We rent in Myrtle Beach and its hit or miss. If she doesn't sleep...no one sleeps :) Just gets bad when my toddler son wants to cuddle too. :). We'll make an adventure...good idea! We'll be in a cruise cabin for 7 nights afterwards so wanted to give everyone as much room as possible while I can! :)

When we rented a studio at Kidani my (then) 3 year old just slept on the couch without pulling it out. We just took the big pillows off the back and it was perfect.
This time we're staying at BCV and WLV and the plan is still the same. (Albeit in a 1 br this time. But not planning on pulling out the couch in the living room area.)

Plus you have a lot more room without pulling out the couch. Especially if you're trying to fit a pack n play for the little one.

The BCV sleeper sofas are different from many of the others. They are like the BWV sleeper sofas. The cushions are not removable from the sofa and the back flips forward to open the sleeper. The cushions help support the foot of the bed. This mattress is more like a real mattress than the sectioned foam pads on a platform like on OKW, SSR, BLT, etc.

My son (currently 19 and 6'1") has slept on the BCV sleeper sofa by himself a few times and found it to be fine. But sharing it would be difficult since it is only a double sized sleeper sofa in the studio. Queen sized in the one bedroom.

Give the two kids the sleeper sofa and let them have an adventure. They will be all of 12" away from you in the studio.

Oh great info! Thanks everybody! Looking forward to our first visit to the BCV and last time we were at the BC was our honeymoon. :)
