BCV view questions

Does anyone know if the pool view rooms at BCV have a partial Illuminations view? When I went this past Christmas, I got a straight-on Illuminations view and it was too close to the road for me. The woods view gave me a nice "peek", which is fine with me. Wondering if I might get that in Pool view rooms too. Also, anyone want to recommend a good 1 BR? Staying in one for the first time with DS.

We have had a pool view room twice at the BCV and neither time were we able to see Illuminations. It is still our favorite view however. The pool is beautiful, especially at night. It sure beats that road view by a mile.

The view of the Dunes Cove (quiet pool) faces away from the Epcot side - therefore no Illuminations view - partial or full

In 2 stays at BCV, we have had room #252 - end of hall - full Epcot view but that darn road in the foreground

#224 was end of a short hall, had a great woods/water view of Pine Trees etc., partial illuminations view and very close to epcot via going around the backside of Beach Club

Both of the above were on the non-pool side
