BCV Updates?

I stayed at BC in 2008 and the rooms were beautifully updated. I'm wondering if they have done this to the villas as well.

No the Villas have not had that level of updating like the regular resort. They did have a small refurb in 2008 - new soft goods (bedspreads and such). I think the hallways got new carpeting as well. But the rooms in the Villas are not like the resort rooms.

Members pay for any maintenance, updating, renovations, etc to the villas. DVC management likes to make sure we are getting our money's worth.

BCV is a timeshare and all maintenance is paid for by members. Disney doesn't update the DVC resorts. Members pay for any updates.

The bedding was replaced but it wasn't updated like it was at BC. ie - it pretty much looks the same.

Our BCV studio had a new flat screen tv and an iHome clock/radio when we were there last week.
