BCV trip report with photos!! Final thoughts and photos added!

As usual your pictures are amazing!! Thank you so much for sharing your trip with all of us!!

I head down next Wednesday and seeing these pictures really get me excited for my trip!!

Thanks Bob!! :thumbsup2

Thanks, you may need to start hydrating now!

I want to schedule my trips at the same time as yours and borrow your photo services!!
Love the pics from the safari - safari pics are always my fave and these were so vivid and real. Also aprreciated the AKL/AKV pics - can't wait to be there in October. (And no hating from me, I wouldn't want everybody to love the same things as me)!

Our friends that we normally travel with are currently at Kidani and are singing it's praises! They talk like they may never stay anywhere else. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder!

The best Festival of the Lion King pictures I have ever seen. I bow to the master!

Bob, you make me want to go out and buy a nice camera. Your pictures are stunning.

He does this to us all! Truth is Bob can make a simple Kodak P&S dance and sing. It's all talent that would take me over 25 years of constant shutter clicking to develop.

You guys are too kind! I still have one more day to get to, hopefully I'll finish soon but I'm shooting a big wedding tomorrow. I always like trip reports with photos so I'm glad to share.

Professional photographer. No wonder your pictures are so beautiful. Checked out your link, and sure wish we'd had a photographer like you for our daughter's wedding. We picked a dog and have the pictures to prove it!

I can't see any of your pics. I see an P'bucket icon that says "bandwith exceeded".

Is that my fault?

I'm running into the same problem....

That just means that the pictures have been viewed too many times in a limited period of time. PB only allows a limited number of downloads on free accounts, so if the photos are viewed or quoted more than the allowed bandwidth for the time period, you see the PB image until the time period resets. :headache: We probably won't see any updates until the restrictions are lifted.

It was my fault, I should have compressed the files more. They will be released the 26th...

I was initially able to see your few days of photos, but now I cannot see any of them. :(

My apologies, my paying photo work has gotten in the way and I had to wait on photobucket to release my photos!

Day five the final full day:

Today we headed to Epcot. We arrived at the International Gate at 8:45 just as they let everyone in. We walked at a normal walking pace and were headed to Soarin' since DDF had never experienced this attraction. We got there just as the rope dropped for everyone to head towards Soarin. We were probably 5-600 people back as we got in and just went straight to the standby line.

We probably had about a 20 minute wait. As we were getting were they start to put in you the lines, I told the CM that we had a first timer with us and we really wanted to be on the first row. The nice CM not only put us on the first row put also the middle set of vehicles!

We we left Soarin, still love this attraction BTW, I stopped and got fastpasses and headed to Living with the Land.

We the headed over to check out Captain EO since I've never seen it. I have been thinking that it was time to change Honey I Shrunk the Audience since the movie was so dated kids probably hadn't even heard of it. After watching Captain EO, I want it to come back!! Not an EO fan!!

We went to Journey into Imagination and played around in there for a little while and then headed to Mousegears to do some shopping. We left the store and started meandering around world showcase headed towards France for our 12:00 ADR at Chefs de France.

My DW and I had lunch hereon a just us trip in 2008 and enjoyed it and my DD had always wanted to try it.

We arrived a few minutes early and waited for them to call our name. Once called we headed in and we really had a nice table. I sat in the very back corner on the side near the fountains. There were places to sit all our belongs on the very big window sills, they were like a shelf.

We were pretty hungry. The waitress was very attentive and quickly brought our drinks and french bread.

My daughter wanted Escargot which we ordered and shared with the table, it was very good. We also dipped our bread in the garlic sauce it was served with.

DD went with the 3 course lunch, french onion soup, quiche lorrainne and creme brulee.

DDF had the mahi sandwich.

DW had: Crepe Florentine - large crepe filled with chicken, spinach, mushrooms and bechamel sauce $14.75

I started with: Soupe a l'oignon gratinee - The classic onion soup topped with gruyere cheese $6.75

and for my entree: Plat de Cote de boeuf au cabernet avec pates - beef short ribs briased in cabernet with pasta, pearl onions and mushrooms $22.95

I must say that this was one one best entrees I have had at WDW. The beef was so tender and the flavor was outstanding. The soup was very good as well but be warned it is quite filling, if the entree wasn't so good I'd never tried to finish but it was and I did and I was stuffed! BTW the DVC 20% discount saved me $20!

After lunch the girls went back to BCV to spend some time at SAB, DW and I caught the boat and headed towards Soarin with our fastpasses. While in line we over heard a couple in front of us saying they were on a trip celebrating their 50th anniversary. We lucked up and got front row center again! We had two extra fastpasses since the girls didn't come. When we exited the ride I asked the couple who were celebrating their 50th if they wanted to ride again and gave them the fastpasses. They were thrilled and I told them Happy Anniversary, you would have thought I'd just given him a thousand dollars, made me fell good inside!

We walked over to Innoventions and saw that they had place where you could try out a Segway and we have always wanted to do that!

We headed back to the resort and a little rest and relaxation. We decided after a while to head to SAB since we hadn't been there all trip and meet up with the girls. They are walking in the resort as we are walking out so DW and I head to the quiet pool instead.

The girls decided to go to MK and watch the parade and fireworks but we old fogies stayed back at the resort. I decided to head out around sunset and take photos around the resort.

Bob, Like everyone else I'm enjoying your great pictures and report. I've been off the boards for a while since no WDW trips for me since last May- glad I signed back in and found your thread.

The last time I ran in to you, I was thinking you mentioned maybe selling your DVC- am I remembering wrong or did y'all decide to hang on to it? Regardless, glad y'all had a good trip!

We came close to selling for financial reasons but thankfully things turned around for us! I had the paper work filled out and everything but never sent them in. I'm so thankful we held off.
