Seeking any advise from members who have stayed at BCV. My family are SSR members and it was my hope that we could try all of the DVC resorts. My question to the membership is how difficult is it for a non BCV member to get a reservation there on the 7 month window? I see there are not many accomodations in that resort so I was hoping that some feedback might give me some insight. Is there any possible magic in this or just a pipe dream? Thanks for your assistance in advance.

I got reservations for August at 7 months out. Two one bedrooms. I think the studio's are harder to get and of course it depends when you want to go. Good luck!

Thanks for the quick response Ariel, I too am shooting for a one bedroom in August 2007. Anyone else with feedback would still be appriciated.

Good luck! I was at a Member Update meeting on Wednesday at SSR and was told there were already 25,500 members that belong to SSR! Maybe you could swap points with a BCV member?? I have done that with a friend of mine!!

I've been able to get 1 or 2 studios in May for BCV. This is the 3rd year that I've been successful, sometimes it has been all weekdays, and sometimes a Saturday and Sunday night. We go for Epcot's Flower and Garden show. I also got a studio for June, just one night, Saturday, June 10th. I do call 7 months out.

Had friends reserve a studio for Presidents week this year at three months out. They got 3 nights BCV and 4 nights SSR at first. They went on waitlist day by day to stay at BCV the entire trip and got it.

Hello to a fellow DVC'er from MA! :goodvibes

We bought at the VWL knowing full well that we would be spending most of our Disney trips at the BCV. We did not want to wait until the BCV were available to purchase because A) I was a CM at the DS and wanted my discount! and B) We knew the price of points would go higher.

That said,we have been able to book at the BCV all but one time, (last April during school vacation) we did not book until January and were "only" able to get a 1BR at the BW. We have needed to go on waitlist a few times, and that has worked out as well. So, I say your chances are good that you will be able to get what you want. :thumbsup2

Hi right back to ya Corrine ya fellow Mass resident. Thanks to everyone for your responses, I am hoping when I can book next February that there will still be a one bedroom available. Just think its nice to be right at EPCOT and have the benefit of BCV and BWV all within walking distance.

My home resort is SSR - I was able to reserve a BCV studio at exactly 7 months out for May 8 - 12. When I called to make the reservation, MS told me that BWV preferred views (both Boardwalk and pool) were available as well as BWV standard view (as I recall, I think I would have needed to waitlist the 1st night if I wanted the standard view but the remaining nights were available).

Hope this helps! :sunny:

We are hilton head owners. Last december we stayed in 2 2br villas with resies made within 7 mos at BCV.

Last Easter week(2005) we had 1 2br at bcv also

I've reserved BCV(twice), VB, OKW and VWL with my SSR points at 7 months or less. Peak times are tough especially during F&W. You'll be able to try them all, it just might take a little flexibility on your part. Upcoming trip for us is VB (5 days) and VWL (3 days), May 7-15th. 2 bedroms at each booked at 7 months. :sunny: :thumbsup2

I tried to book BCV studio or 1 bedroom for May 14 -17th at about 5 months out and was unable to get either. I have been on a wait list since then and am quickly running out of time. :sad2:
