It seems as if the BCV resale prices are all over the place. The smaller contracts seem to be much higher. But is there a price difference based on the use year.

It seems as if the BCV resale prices are all over the place. The smaller contracts seem to be much higher. But is there a price difference based on the use year.

Use Year should not play a role in the pricing. While an individual buyer might prefer one Use Year over another due to their usual vacation dates, in a general sense, no UY is better than another.

Small contracts are priced higher per point than 150+ point contracts at the same resort. The reason for that is because nonmembers who purchase directly from Disney have to purchase a minimum of 150 points (soon to be 160 points). People who want to start small (100 points or less) can only do so via the resale market. Supply and demand, and Disney's habit of exercising ROFR on small contracts unless the price is pretty high, have pushed prices of small contracts up quite a bit over the price for a 150+ contract at the same resort.
