Looks like this was announced last month from doing a quick search. Do you always get about 18 months notice on refurbs? Would help a lot in minimizing interruptions in future planning.

This is the first time I can remember seeing notice of a pool rehab this far out. It’s probably because Stormalong Bay is such a major reason that guests book YC, BC and BCV, Disney decided to avoid the complaints by actually being proactive and letting people know before they book instead of after.

I believe the quiet pool at the villas is scheduled to be closed from today (10/2) through early December. Not sure if it closed as scheduled today.

Can anyone confirm if the quiet pool is indeed closed at the BCV’s. We check in next week and have not received any notification about it.
