BCV or BWV at 7 month mark.......how hard to book....Thksgvng week and week after...

Anybody have experience in booking BCV, BWV or OKW at 7 month mark for a 2 bdrm for thanksgiving week or the week after. Any experiences are welcome and appreciated.

BWV - hard - first it does not have 2-bedroom - only 1-bedroom and studios.

BCV - also hard - but it does have dedicated 2-bedroom.

thanksgiving week standard view at BWV goes generally the day it is first offered - so assuming you will be happy with pool view.

you might get it. even if you don't - dvc has cancelations all the time.

BWV doesn't have dedicated 2-bedroom villas, they are a 1 bedroom and studio connected in what is called a lock-off.

I've tried for both of them just once the week after Thanksgiving, and it was for a studio. My experience at that and other times is that BWV is less difficult (note that I didn't say "easy") to get at any time than BCV. I've been waitlisted for BCV several times at close to 7 months and only had the waitlist come thru once, and that was about a week beforehand. Yet, I've gotten BWV several times when BCV hasn't been available (come to think of it, that's the only reason I've stayed at BWV-unable to get BCV-yet I've stayed there several times).
