This post is for all of the BCV lovers out there! Let me start with the fact that I love Beaches and Cream. This soda shop is our favorite and we just love the atmosphere and the deserts. We have 2 boys -- age 10 and 4 and they love the deserts --- and, best of all, you can eat at Beaches & Cream with a Q&C meal voucher! Q&C meal voucher is a Quick and Casual meal voucher and it is a bargain at around $12! What other things do you love about the Beach Club?

Location, location, location! My kids range in ages from 20years old to 3 years old. This is the location that works best for us.

We love Beaches and Cream, SAB, the Character breakfast at Cape May Cafe, all of the common areas and the overall feel of the place.

Of course, I've never met a DVC resort I didn't like!

I love making reservations for dinner at an Epcot restaurant, staying for the fireworks, and then strolling home (something BWVers can also do).

It's all about:

the lovely short little stroll to Epcot

the awesome pool (with waitstaff to deliver drinks and food poolside--BIG plus for us!)

sandy beach overlooking boardwalk (romantic evenings!), turn of the century beach feel

boat ride to MGM

two options for Magic Kingdom transportation--buses or stroll through Epcot for Monorail ride

BEACHES AND CREAM!

It's our home!

1. Location to Epcot, yet you can come back to a laid-back, quiet atmosphere
2. proximity of the ice cream
3. the sand beach-all those chances to feel sand under my toes
4. Location (I know, I said that already-but it's so perfect)

Hi,

1. location!!! Love Epcot & MGM!
2. B&C Love the food. Can't wait to back in May!

We will be staying at BCV this December and look forward to experiencing all of the above! :flower: :flower:

it the the central location to all WDW golf courses...........and the pool rocks............and its close to epcot dining and close to Shula steakhouse for the porterhouse at the Swan...........and the view at night of the boardwalk can not be topped.

I love everything.......location, the pool, Cape May Cafe, Beaches and Cream, the doorman who remembers us every year, being across from Boardwalk.....oh I could go on and on....it's just the most magical, relaxing, stress-free place ever!
DH and I spent our honeymoon here and were just overwhelmed with what an amazing time we had. We happily purchased our DVC membership as soon as the BCV came available!
Can't wait to go on 9/15!!!

1. Location near Epcot for a very quick walk back from Fireworks
2. Sandy Beach - Love sitting there at night on a bench swing and looking at the boardwalk.
3. Close walk to boadwalk but far enough away not to hear the noise.
4. Beaches and Creme.
5. Art the Greeter
6. The smell

1. Location -- walk to two theme parks, great restaurants, miniature golf, Boardwalk
2. SAB
3. YC/BC/BCV theme
4. the walk home after CP, Illuminations, Fantasia

I know I already mentioned Stormalong Bay, but I just can't help but to also mention the lovely feel of squishy wet sand between my toes on the bottom of the pool! I missed that in March when we stayed at another property!

Where do I begin? Location! We feel that it is centrally located to most anything that you want to do on property.

1. It's close to Epcot - our favorite park
2. It's close to the Boardwalk - great entertainment and bakery
3. It has Beaches & Cream
4. It has Storm Along Bay
5. It's connected to YC - which we love to lounge in sometimes
6. It has Cape May's Cafe
7. It has beautifully decorated sitting areas in BCV
8. It has a sense of peace right on the lake
9. It has an artist in the lobby
10. Location! ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

I have 100 points there and ifor its the great location to Epcot durning the F@W festival.

Pool
B&C
The decor
Proximity to Epcot
Walk around the lake
Near the mini-golf

By the way - are the vouchers still around? I know that hotwire.com was taken over and the new place doesn't sell them anymore. I thought I had read that with the Meal Plan and the DDE card expansion that the voucher program was being eliminated.

We had four vouchers at $11.50 each - covers tax and tip - and the cash bill would have been $80+ without the tip. That was a real deal! We left a huge tip besides the voucher tip.

I love all the things the others have mentioned plus the new Marketplace. I love beeing able to use a refillable cup and getting clam chowder in the evenings after a long day in a theme park or for an easy lunch!

Huge fan of the Location and SAB here... Theming does nothing for us... (I prefer BWV's theming and DH prefers OKW theming)

This DVC resort offers room service! (always a plus in my book!)

Cape May is great.

We also like the dedicated 2 bedroom 2 queen option, which books up ASAP.

Yep, nothing beats relaxing poolside and sipping on a steaming-hot mug of clam chowder.
