BCV: Location

When requesting a location which is the best? Are there any bad views? Any area to keep away from?

We do not spend too much time hanging out at the resort so the view is not a big deal for us. We had Epcot/Illuminations views the two times we've been there and have been very pleased with the view. The first trip we had a top floor Epcot view and we were right over the canal. Nice view of Spaceship Earth right there in front of you when you open the drapes. Road noise was not an issue for us. Our second trip was again a top floor view of Epcot. For our Nov 2003 trip we've requested top floor pool view just to find out what that's like. We've requested top floor Epcot view for our Jan 2004 trip. Both of the Epcot views had good views of Illuminations though the room over the canal had a better view.

We have had rooms with the EPCOT view (we were on the first floor and really had a view of the road) and pool view. For our next trip we asked for pool view again. I really liked it a lot more. Maybe if I was on a higher floor the EPCOT view would have been more to my liking but I figure any floor with the pool view will be good.
