BCV hard to get in early December at 7 mos?

Hi, I was wondering how hard it is to get into BCV in early December at 7 mos? I am considering selling my points there to buy into BLT, but don't want to do it if I won't be able to stay at BCV during the slow season. I assume it is easier to get into BWV at that time, also at 7 mos in case I could not get BCV?

It is very hard to get either of these resorts at the 7 month for early December when points are lower.

You would be taking a big risk if you sell your BCV points and still want to stay at BCV in early December. BWV is tough also but you might have a chance at a preferred view room. I own at BWV and have been on the waitlist for a BW view room for the first week in December since just a few days inside the 11 month window.

I agree with the 2 other posters. It is very difficult to get either BWV or BCV at 7 months for December. I succeeded last year in doing it, but I had to actually do 3 resorts: BWV, SSR & BCV in order to cover my trip. PLus I was piecing together the ressie 1 day at a time up until 1 week before my trip.

Early December is difficult anywhere at 7 months. It's one of the extremely popular times with members. Parks are not so crowded, annual member meeting happens and points are low.

This is the reason I purchased my BWV points. I specifically wanted early December and could not get in, several years in a row actually.

Now I can plan ahead and know I will be staying exactly where I want to be! Though I must say staying at BLT for the holiday season would be excellent..just walk home from MVMCP!

Thanks guys. I appreciate the insight. As a new owner I am just getting used to the differences between what is a slow time and what is a busy time. When I made my ressie at BWV for early December at 11 months I had no trouble so made an assumption I wanted to question. Glad I did!
