Hi! I will be heading to DW end of June to mid July this summer! Yay! Wanted to see if anyone would tack on a 1 night at BCV on the last day of their trip?

It just so happens a day opened up literally on the last day of my trip. We have decided to do 4 nights at the poly, then 10 nights at BWV. However, would you do 4 nights Poly, 9 nights BWV, then 1 night on the tail end of BCV?

I'm worried it'll just be a wasted night since we have to leave anyway on the last day. I don't have my flights yet, and I don't know if we are driving 14hrs+ instead. WWYD?

I wouldn't want to swap hotels for just one day like that personally.

You're already at BWV which is in the same area, only thing that BCV night would do for you is give you access to SAB, which is not worth that hassle of swapping really.

Thank you, all. My 2 kids ages 12 and 16 like SAB but I do worry that a 1 night just before we leave would be more of a hassle and outweigh the benefits. It is a big pain to pack up and leave just to leave the next day!!

I agree it's kind of a hassle to do a one-night at the end. And I say that as someone who has done a few one-nights at the beginning of trips.

Having said that, if you plan your packing appropriately, you could just have one bag for the last day and night, which would limit the hassle of packing to unpack to repack. Also, going from BWV to BCV is the easiest transfer there probably is, outside of Poly and the Grand. I did a one-night stay at the beginning of a trip at YC, then moved to BWV. I didn't even take our bags to bell services, just walked over with everything. We did it to go to SAB instead of a water park, cause it was about the same price.

So if you were going to do it, I think it's the most hassle-free of the possible switches. Plus, having a down day at the pool on your final day isn't a bad way to end the trip. I think planning the packing will be most important.

Thx. We also don't know if we will be driving 14 hrs to disney or flying. If driving, we need to leave super early on check out day. My son goes to overnight camp the next day (Sunday, check out is Saturday). My kids have no idea how much planning and logistics go into these trips....

This is our plan next trip. I really do not like the idea of moving rooms for the last night but we can make it work.

There will be 3 of us and everybody will pick out the clothes needed for the last 24 hrs, and put that in one suitcase along with whatever else they need access. We won’t even unpack that last day. Basically live out of that one suitcase and hopefully leave the rest alone.

Normally we’re running the parks up to the last minute. Which would make this harder because it’s a real pain packing in the midst of that. This trip we’re planning to wind it down the last 1.5 days. Both resorts in are in the MK area and only if we get bored will we pop into MK. We’re moving over to try club level at Contemporary, which seems similar to moving over for SAB.

I think it’s only worth it if you’re pretty much done with the parks by that point and have a compelling reason to move resort.

Do you have enough points to waitlist more than the last night? Summer inventory keeps shifting and you may see more than 1 night become available?
