BCV dedicated reservation change?

I have been trying to book a 2 bedroom dedicated /2Queen villa at the BC. In the past my reservations have confirmed that my room was in fact dedicated as well as having 2 queen beds. I now have received a reservation that only confirms a two bedroom with no wording about dedicated or two queens. I was told that this change has been in effect for quite a while! Any information on this? I don't know if this has been discussed here before but wanted to give you all a heads up to check your reservation.

The first time I called on this they said I did have a two bedroom dedicated but not with two queen beds! GRRRRRRRRR ! This is so upsetting as I specifically told the reserervationist about the need for two Queen beds in the bedroom. So when I called they didn't have all the nights that I requested but said they fixed my ressie and I would in fact get a 2 bedroom dedicated with 2 queens for all but one of the nights. Got my reservation in the mail yesterday and called them today as it once again says that I have a two bedroom period. This time when I called back I was told that the reservation no longer will have dedicated and/or two queens but it is on their computer?????? Anyone else hear about this "change of policy" ?I spoke to a supervisor and she confirmed this although had no details. Seems like a poor change to me. Now you will have to call to check to make sure your reservation is indeed correct. Can you imagine if I get there and they tell me I don't have a two bedroom dedicated/2 Queen room. I have nothing in writing to back me up:( :confused3 Anyone with any information on this? Thank you.
 
When we booked in December 03 for our 2BR with 2Qu. for November of 2004, the same thing happened. There was a change in the computer system that no longer allows that to be printed on the confirmation sheets. But, they will be able to tell you at MS which room category is booked because they still are separate booking categories.

If you do a search, you will see that others experienced the same thing as both of us.
 
We have had this same thing the last 3 times we booked. It was only the very first time we booked the 2 Queen category that we had the 2 Bedroom Dedicated/2Q on our reservation. I agree this is not a good change. My thoughts are just in case they have to move you for some reason now you don't have it in writing. I sent an e-mail to MS asking them to confirm that I had 2 Queens booked for my reservation # 1234567. They then sent me an e-mail back confirming it and I printed it out and took it with me.
 
Thanks for the responses. I am glad I called and checked on this with the first reservation or I would never have known that they reserved the wrong room category. So now with the "new" system you really HAVE to call to double check to see if the reservation is correct. DOUBLE GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

What email address did you use? I spoke to a supervisor at MS and asked if there was some way to confirm this in writing and was told no, but I would like to give it a try. Thanks again. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
 

No big deal. Just email and get the confirmation in writing.

I had the same thing with a ressie I made last April for March 05. Not a problem.
 
Your confirmation will no longer state you have booked the 2 bedroom/2 queen villa.

I really think that due to there only being 25 this is change is due to the fact if for some unforseen reason they have to put you in a different room it is not stated on your confirmation.
